1949-2022
Olle’s interest in photography started early in his childhood, and after receiving a box camera he began to explore the world of camerawork and imagery. His passion for photography grew, and as a University student he spent many hours in the photo lab making black-and-white wallpapers from images. In 1970, he could afford his first SLR, which was a Nikkormat FTn. He upgraded it a few years later to a Nikon FM, and then added a Nikon FE2 shortly after. In 2005 he completely moved over to digital photography starting with a Nikon Coolpix 5200 followed by Nikon’s full-frame DSLRs, when they in 2007 came on the market. His images are all processed in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
He was fascinated by Swedish nature and the beautiful scenery for photography that it offers. The interest in wild animals was something that he had in common with his family, and together it took them on many trips around the world. During the 2010s he was mainly exploring different parts of Africa and its captivating wildlife. His camera was his companion, always prepared to capture a beautiful moment.
